As you prepare for labor and birth I am your resource, providing you with non-judgmental, evidence based information so you can make the best choices for your family. We meet during the pregnancy to get to know one another and discuss your birth preferences.
During prenatals we will practice comfort measures and positions to prepare for working as a team during your labor. Once labor has begun I join you when you would like me there and I stay with you until your baby is born. I remain with you for a few hours after your baby has arrived and help with early breast/chest feeding and answer any questions you or your partner may have. When you hire me for labor support I also make one postpartum visit within 2 week of your birth. I can provide emotional support and help you process your birth.
If you decide you need more support after the baby arrives consider my Postpartum Support.
Birth Support includes:
We will have 1-2 prenatal meetings, depending on your preferences.
